COS’ First Family Concert an Overwhelming Success!

“Meet the Orchestra” was an exciting, interactive musical event for children featuring selections of music that highlight the sounds and sights of the different instrument groups in the orchestra.  The orchestra musicians were spread out in an “orchestra-in-the-round” format. Children moved through and around the orchestra to get a close-up view of their favorite instruments in motion as selections by Vivaldi, Handel, Haydn and more were played. Over 250 people attended this landmark event.

Graner Music’s hand-on instrument “petting” zoo was a favorite with children and adults.
