Join us on a lovely Colorado evening to enjoy food provided by Blue Sage Catering and music of small ensembles consisting of members and friends of the COS. Small ensembles will play at the bridal cottage, under the main pavilion, in the pottery area, and other locations in the nursery.
The highlight of the evening will be an orchestra concert presenting music of Mozart, von Weber, and Wagner. Soloist Michael Yopp, French horn, will join the orchestra for Mozart’s Horn Concerto No. 2 in E-flat Major. Ian Buckspan, clarinet, will be the soloist for the Finale from von Weber’s Clarinet Concerto No.2. The evening ends with a repeat performance of the Siegfried Idyll by Wagner (Notes).
The proceeds of this concert will directly benefit the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs and their members. Food will be catered by Blue Sage Catering and a bar (at extra cost) will also be available.
