
Dmytro Vynohradov
Dmytro Vynohradov was born on April 26, 1970 in Kiev, Ukraine into a family dedicated to art, music and literature — among its members, a famous movie director. In early childhood he showed great musical abilities and demonstrated special promise as a pianist, performing Mozart’s Fantasia in D Minor at 8, and Shubert’s Four Impromptus and Prokofiev Ten Pieces (Opus 12) at 10 years old in a public performance.
In the 1990’s he left the former Soviet Union, settled as a resident in the United Arab Emirates and a started a business. At present, he works as the Director of his investing company, while still constantly polishing his mastery in the piano art.
Mr. Vynohradov frequently performs in open concerts and festivals in Germany, Italy, and France, and has garnered awards in a number of international competitions including:
- Second prize at the 20th International Concours des Grands in Paris 2009
- Special Mention Award at the Ibla Grand Prize 2008, in Italy
- 1st Place at “Rocky Mountain Piano Competition” A.P.I. (Colorado, U.S.A., 2009)
Mr. Vynohradov also performs at diverse international classical events. He played Tchaikovsky Concerto B Minor No. 1 with great success in Paris, at the Sorbonne Grande Amphitheatre, with Francois Boulanger conducting.
He follows the Old Russian School of pianism, and the music of Russian classical composers always figures prominently in his performances, and his special mastery of their works and has been warmly welcomed by audiences here and abroad.
