MEET THE ORCHESTRA

Joshua Head is a violist from Colorado Springs, Colorado, though music has taken him to 20 states and around the world to Japan and Norway. He has performed in many notable venues, including the Oslo Opera House, Carnegie Hall with violinist Sarah Chang, and Severance Hall with the St. Olaf Choir.

Joshua recently became a member of Chamber Orchestra of the Springs and has also appeared with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic. He holds a Masters Degree in Viola Performance from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, where he studied with Victoria Chiang, preceded by his Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance from St. Olaf College, where he studied with Charles Gray.
