The Chamber Orchestra’s Organ Spectacular blazes new trails with three of the region’s finest organists and a world premiere by Dr. Roderick Gorby. With the world-class organ at First United Methodist Church, we will shake the building in performances of Hindemith’s psychedelic Kammermusik No. 7 and the Widor’s majestic Symphony in G Minor. A consistent audience favorite, the Organ Spectacular is one of the funnest arts events all season and not to be missed!

Musical legends come to life in a stunning program from Classical to Blues and everything in between. The Chamber Orchestra is joined by Dr. Gregory Walker of the University of Denver, performing a piece written for him by his father, Pulitzer Prize-winning composer George Walker. Local trumpet prodigy Sophie Urban performs Enesco’s powerful Légende before she leaves for college, and soloists from the orchestra explore the American sound of Howard Hanson. With a soulful Blues and a playful Haydn symphony, the Chamber Orchestra ends its season in celebration.
