Distant Winds
The winds of the Chamber Orchestra reunite, properly distanced, for a charming program of Mozart, Gounod and Beethoven. Three under-performed works serve as a window into the genius of these brilliant composers, who wrote major works for winds, fully utilizing their tonal colors and technical virtuosity. This is a rare opportunity to hear the Chamber Orchestra winds doing what they do best--exploring lesser-known repertoire and revealing a side of some of your favorite composers you may have never experienced. This is a program of pure joy.
