ENOUGH: VOICES AGAINST ABUSE
 An artistic response against intimate partner violence, particularly as exacerbated by COVID quarantines

The Chamber Orchestra of the Springs and Art Song Colorado present "ENOUGH: VOICES AGAINST ABUSE." Join vocalists from across Colorado as they tell stories of domestic violence and triumph over adversity. Jennifer DeDominici and Jonathan Hays present musical theater selections and Amy Maples and Marcia Ragonetti star in a fully staged production of Jake Heggie's "To Hell and Back" - the myth of Persephone in a modern-day spousal abuse setting with a baroque-style orchestra. Thomas Wilson conducts the Chamber Orchestra with production by Eapen Leubner and Art Song Colorado's Associate Conductor, Steven Aguiló-Arbues at the piano.

​empowering victims of intimate partner violence to take back the life that is rightfully theirs.

Meet the rest of the team:
Thomas Wilson conducts the Chamber Orchestra with production by Art Song Colorado Founder, Eapen Leubner.
Alaina DeBellevue is a freelance pianist and vocal coach. She is currently on the faculty at Colorado State University as Vocal Coach and Music Director for the Ralph Opera Center. Recently she served as a pianist and coach for Opera Steamboat's 2021 summer festival, and in January 2022 will join the music staff at Sarasota Opera as assistant conductor. She holds an Artist Diploma in Vocal Coaching and Master of Music in Collaborative Piano from CU Boulder.
​Argentinean-American Steven Aguiló-Arbues enjoys his various roles as a conductor, vocal coach, pianist, and producer. He has served on the music staffs of Sarasota Opera, Opera Colorado, The Atlanta Opera, Central City Opera, Boulder Opera Company, the Crested Butte Music Festival, the Miami Music Festival and Centro Studi Lirica in Italy.  Mr. Aguiló-Arbues has also taught at academic institutions including the Manhattan School of Music, Colorado State University in Fort Collins, and the University of Colorado in Boulder. He earned his Professional Studies Certificate and Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music in New York City. He currently resides in Colorado with his wife and daughter.
