Military-themed opera, ‘Mary Poppins,’ ‘Nutcracker’ adaptations fill Colorado Springs stages

Nobody wants to hear the knock. This is the particular knock on a family’s front door that comes in the wake of their enlisted family member’s death. The single performance is Sunday at Lewis Palmer High School in Monument. A limited number of free tickets is available for active duty-military, veterans and their families.
